Allyson Huval is a doctoral student in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Georgetown University, studying Hindu-Christian dialogue within the context of Christian yoga. Huval has presented her research at the American Academy of Religion and has published articles in academic journals and public news sites. She received her master's degree concentrating in Asian religions from Yale Divinity School and two bachelor's degrees from Louisiana State University.
