Amir Ahmed Manghali is the regional programs coordinator for East Africa of Islamic Relief Worldwide. He has 30 years of experience working in education, civil society, and humanitarian work, offering expertise in social studies, HIV and AIDS, human rights, advocacy, and program and grant management. Manghali also has 18 years of experience working with international non-government organizations in development and humanitarian relief in East Africa, including Uganda, South Sudan, Sudan, Kenya, Sudan-Darfur, and Somalia.
