Ana White is the head of strategic communications and outreach at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in Washington, DC. Prior to her current role, she worked as a strategic partnership adviser in UNHCR’s regional bureau for Asia and the Pacific. She also served as UNHCR’s senior interagency coordinator in Bogota, Colombia. Before her assignment in Colombia, she was the senior communications officer in UNHCR’s regional bureau for Europe working on the emergency response to the situation in the Mediterranean.
