Andreas Hipple managed GHR Foundation’s Inter-Religious Action Initiative from 2011 through 2017, leading its efforts to bring religious leaders and communities together to tackle common development challenges and strengthen social cohesion. While at GHR, Andreas also served as a senior advisor to the Better Way Foundation, supporting early childhood development, and on the steering committee for the Peace and Security Funders Group. As of the start of 2018, he is Better Way Foundation’s executive director. Before joining GHR Foundation, he was director of programs for the Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty (CIFA), and he has consulted on international development, capacity building, evaluation, and program design. He was a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin and worked as an analyst for an investment consulting firm. He received his bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and his Master’s from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where he is currently completing his doctorate.
