Anh Tran, S.J., is a Jesuit priest and assistant professor of historical and systematic theology at the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University, where he teaches core courses in systematic theology and interreligious studies. His teaching and research interests include ecclesiology, missiology, interreligious dialogue between Christianity and East Asian religions, theological anthropology, comparative theology, Asian theologies and Christianities, Jesuit mission in East Asia, and healthcare ethics. Cross-trained in various fields from electrical engineering to medical ethics to theology, Tran enjoys connecting interdisciplinary concepts. He received his B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University, his M.A. in healthcare ethics and M.P.S. from Loyola University of Chicago, his M.Div. and S.T.L from the Jesuit School of Theology, and his M.A. in religious studies and Ph.D. from Georgetown University.
