Ania Uzieblo (C'25), a junior in the College of Arts & Sciences majoring in economics with minors in religion, ethics, and world affairs and Spanish, hails from the Metro-Detroit area in Michigan. She carries a strong sense of culture and identity from her family's roots in Poland, embodying pride as a dual citizen. An enthusiastic linguist, Ania is not only proficient in Spanish and German but has recently embarked on learning Russian. Her involvement on campus extends to competing in Model UN and being a board member of the Georgetown International Relations Association, Inc. When not engrossed in her academic pursuits, Ania enjoys her free time by reading, volunteering, listening to reggaeton music, or rewatching her favorite movies like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
