Aranza Márquez Mora is a Mexican student who has studied at ITESO in Mexico and at Universidad Loyola in Spain, and she is a member of the IAJU Global Citizenship Fellows Program 2025-2026 cohort. She has a strong academic and personal interest in migration, the internationalization of education, and the role of global educational networks as agents of social change. Aranza shares that being educated within the Jesuit tradition has opened doors for her to better understand diverse realities and lived experiences across different parts of the world, motivating her to recognize and give visibility to injustices that often go unnoticed. Currently in her final year of studies, Aranza works at the Office of Global Enrollment at Universidad Loyola, where she supports initiatives that promote international experiences as fundamental to students’ academic and professional development. She believes higher education is a tool for expanding opportunities and fostering a just global community.
