Cherie Chung (SFS'16) graduated from the School of Foreign Service in 2016, having majored in international economics. On campus she was a research assistant for the Georgetown Institute of Consumer Research, a teaching assistant for the Economics Department, and was involved with the Beeck Center for Social Impact & Innovation, Compass Fellowship, and StartupHoyas. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she has traveled to Korea, Taiwan, and South Africa, and she spent the spring 2015 semester in Pune, India with the Alliance for Global Education while blogging for the Junior Year Abroad Network. She looked forward to taking classes on development economics, conducting research, and traveling during her time abroad.
