Chris Untiet grew up in Iowa, receiving his master of arts degree in political science and history from Iowa State University in 2008. He joined the AmeriCorps National Service Program to serve with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) from 2009 through 2011. He has since served as HFH GLA’s faith relations manager, connecting 150 diverse congregations of various faith traditions from across greater Los Angeles with Habitat’s mission. He has also traveled to the Gulf Coast, Milwaukee, Cedar Rapids, El Salvador, China, and Paraguay to build with Habitat for Humanity.
