Christy Vines is an adjunct senior fellow for religion and security at the American Security Project. Her expertise lies at the intersection of religion and national security, global gender issues, and foreign policy. Vines previously was the executive director of the Center for Women, Faith & Leadership at the Institute for Global Engagement, where she also was senior vice president for global initiatives and strategy. She has held several positions at the RAND Corporation. Her work has been published in the Washington Post, Religion News Service, Capital Commentary, and Christianity Today. Vines received her master’s degree in public administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
