Cristiana Salvi is the program manager for external relations and health emergencies at the World Health Organization's regional office for Europe. She has fifteen years of experience handling disease outbreaks, conflict, natural disasters, and environmental contamination in Europe, Africa and Asia. Her experience also includes communication and advocacy, media, and emergency risk communication.
