Daniel "Danny" McCain has been a professor of Theology at the University of Jos in northern Nigeria since 1991. He is also founder and international ambassador for Global Scholars (formerly the International Institute for Christian Studies [IICS]), which he helped launch in 1986 to teach the Bible and develop Christian studies projects in public universities worldwide. In addition, McCain set up a Department of Christian Studies at Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in September 1988 to become the first IICS teaching fellow. McCain was also a part of the Christianity and Freedom Project headed by the Berkley Center's Religious Freedom Project. He holds a B.A. from Hobe Sound Bible College, M.A. from Columbia International University, and M.A. and Ph.D. from Bob Jones University.
