Elyse MacLeod
Profile
Elyse MacLeod, hailing from Yukon, Canada, is a doctoral candidate in religious studies at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec. Her research examines the confluence of interfaith activism and scholarship, with a focus on how pluralism is framed and taught in post-secondary contexts. Elyse is a recipient of the Fonds de recherche du Québec Doctoral Research Scholarship and a co-founder of the Journal of the Council for Research on Religion, an open-access academic journal with a mission to democratize publishing opportunities for emerging scholars from a diversity of backgrounds. She is committed to promoting interfaith dialogue and cultural understanding at on campus. Elyse is a member of the Human Fraternity Fellows Program 2023-2024 cohort.
