Sr. Eugenia Amporfu, FST, is a Catholic religious in the Daughters of the Most Holy Trinity and a professor in the Department of Economics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. Her research focuses on strategic purchasing of health care as well as equity in access to health care. Sr. Amporfu has also consulted for organizations such as the Lancet Global Health, Strategic Purchasing Africa Resource Centre, Results for Development, and the World Bank on issues related to financing and improving access to health care for all, as well as debt management.
