Archbishop Felix Machado is chairman of the Continental Federation of Asian Bishops' Office for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs (OEIA-FABC) and a bishop-member of the Holy See's Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, as well as member of advisory committees for several international initiatives. He studied theology at Faculte Catholique de Lyon, France, and holds a doctorate from Fordham University in New York.
