Archbishop Flavio Pace is secretary of the Pontifical Commission for Religious Relations with Jews and secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity. A native of Monza, Italy, he was ordained in the Archdiocese of Milan, educated at its seminary, and studied in Rome at the Pontifical Institute for Oriental Studies and the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies. Pace first served in the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Oriental Churches.
