Francesca Merico is HIV campaign coordinator for the World Council of Churches' Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance, which engages faith-based organizations in multiple traditions to end the AIDS epidemic. She previously led Caritas Internationalis' HAART for Children Campaign, which promoted efforts to diagnose and treat mothers and children living with HIV.
