Irish theologian Gerry O'Hanlon, S.J. is a staff member at the Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice, a member of the Council for Justice and Peace of the Irish Episcopal Conference, and a member of the Association of Catholic Priests. He previously served as an associate professor in the Department of Systematic Theology and History at the Milltown Institute and as Provincial of Ireland for the Society of Jesus. His publications include A New Vision for the Catholic Church: A View from Ireland (2011), Theology in the Irish Public Square (2010), The Immutability of God in the Theology of Hans Urs von Balthasar (1990), and numerous journal articles and essays.
