Greg Thielmann is a current board member and former senior fellow at the Arms Control Association (ACA). Prior to joining the ACA he was a U.S. Foreign Service Officer for 25 years, last serving as director of the Strategic, Proliferation and Military Affairs Office in the Department of State’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research. After his retirement from the State Department, he spoke out on the rationale for the U.S. invasion of Iraq offered by the George W. Bush administration.
