Rev. Dr. Harriet Harris is the university chaplain and chaplaincy service head at the University of Edinburgh, as well as a priest in the Scottish Episcopal Church. She is a former chaplain of Wadham College, Oxford where she facilitated social justice programs and organized speaker meetings and discussions on matters of social and ethical concern. She was also a member of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Oxford, where her research interests included Christian fundamentalism, women and the church, and religious epistemology, especially the moral and spiritual dimensions of religious understanding. Her publications include Faith and Philosophical Analysis: The Role of Analytical Philosophy on the Philosophy of Religion (2005), The Call for Women Bishops (2004, edited with Jane Shaw), and Fundamentalism and Evangelicals (1998/2008).
