Dr. Hassan Abed Nadhem is the UNESCO Chair for the Development of Interreligious Dialogue Studies in the Islamic World at the University of Kufa. His current research activities focus on cross-cultural studies, hermeneutics, critical theory, linguistics, and modern Arabic literature. Nadhem has taught in several Western and Arab universities and institutions, including the Islamic College for Advanced Studies-Middlesex University in London and Nasir University in Libya. Nadhem has published 20 original and translated books; he is also the editor-in-chief of Kufa Review and editor of Intellectual Studies, a series of books published by the University of Kufa. He was a participant in the International Higher Education Interfaith Leadership Forum.
