Iván Garzón Vallejo is an associate professor of the Political Sciences Department at Universidad de La Sabana (Colombia). His issues of research are politics and religion, secularism, and political violence. He has written or edited four books, including John Rawls. Justicia, liberalismo y razón pública (2016) and La religión en la razón pública (2014). During fall 2017 he was a visiting researcher at the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs.
