Jin Li is professor of education and human development at Brown University. She studies the Confucian and Western learning models and children’s learning beliefs. She is author of Cultural Foundations of Learning: East and West (2012). She has completed a new book manuscript on the Western and East Asian philosophical origins and psychological expressions of self.
