Kathryn “Kay” Threatt is an undergraduate student in the School of Foreign Service (class of 2018), hailing from the beautiful city-town of Richmond, Virginia. She is pursuing a degree in international politics with a concentration in security studies and is currently deciding between a Spanish minor or a diplomatic studies certificate. On campus, she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., as well as on the boards of the NAACP, Black Movements Dance Theatre, and the BRAVE Summit. She is also a member of Movements of Grace Praise Dance Ministries. In her free time, Kay enjoys trying new foods, baking, writing, watching movies, and spending time with friends. She studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina for the fall 2016 semester and blogged as part of the Junior Year Abroad Network.
