Kenize Mourad is a journalist and author. Her work builds on her heritage as the daughter of Turkish and Indian royalty to highlight key historical events from the East. She is the author of In the City of Gold and Silver (2014) and Regards from the Dead Princess (1989), as well as several books in French. Before becoming a novelist, she worked as a journalist for the French weekly Le Nouvel Observateur after studying sociology and psychology at the Sorbonne.
