Kerry Saner-Harvey currently serves as peace advisor for Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Bangladesh, working alongside the peace team which has been facilitating peacebuilding and conflict transformation trainings for the last decade to organizations and schools in Bangladesh. Before coming to Bangladesh in 2014, Kerry worked for 8 years with MCC in Northern Canada in the areas of restorative justice, family and gender violence reduction, trauma healing and decolonization. He has completed a master’s degree in Comparative Theology and Islamic studies at Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Following this, he sought to learn more about the intersection of peace, conflict and religion and pursued further studies in conflict transformation at the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding in Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA.
