Kingsley Bangwell, Ashoka Fellow, Executive Director of Youngstars Foundation (http://youngstarsfoundation.org/), and Pastor of Power City International Church, Jos Plateau State Branch, is a Nigerian youth activist working on many fronts, and focusing on entrepreneurship and good governance. As a Young Global Leader he was a member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council 2010. He received a national diploma in Social Work and Community Development from the Plateau State Polytechnic in 2004. He was an intern at the World Youth Alliance, New York for three months in 2003 and a Stanford Summer Fellow on Democracy, Development and Rule of Law, Stanford University in 2007. He received the Scout of the Year Award and in 1984 and was Scout Patrol Leader of his Wale. He was elected as a Fellow Architect of the Future by Waldzell Institute in 2010 and was also a member of the Bretton Woods Committee. He wrote a chapter on Youth Entrepreneurship in the 2011 book titled Youth Effect published by the World Economic Forum. His program Democracy Series: Participation, Learning Active Youth (DESPLAY) brings together youth from different parts of Africa in a training program to learn about democracy and good governance as it affects young people. He produced a weekly youth television program with his wife called Out of You and recently started The Factory – Impact Youth Christian Center www.iyccafrica.org
