Livi Ray (C’28), from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, is pursuing a major in public policy and a minor in psychology. She is passionate about educational access and has taught preschool and fourth grade reading through AmeriCorps and Teach For America. At Georgetown, Livi is a Blue & Gray tour guide, a research assistant at the McCourt School of Public Policy, an Alumni Relations intern, and a board member of the 1634 Society. She is interested in how people think about politics, the use of technology to expand educational opportunity, and the application of human-centered design to governance. In her free time, Livi enjoys reading, volunteering with her church’s children’s ministry, and visiting DC art museums. Livi is a 2026 Education and Social Justice Fellow.
