Madeline Sopko graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service in 2009. She received a degree in regional and comparative studies with a concentration on Latin America and the Middle East, and she also earned a certificate in international development. She participated in the Berkley Center's Junior Year Abroad Network while studying in Mexico City during the fall of 2007.
