Mae Elise Cannon has served as executive director of Churches for Middle East Peace since 2016. She has previously served as the senior director of advocacy and outreach at World Vision-US and was executive pastor of Hillside Covenant Church. In her work, Cannon combines her ministry and professional background. She has earned a PhD in history from the University of California - Davis and a D. Min. in Spiritual formation from Northern Theological Seminary.
