Maeve Foley (C'24) is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences from Brooklyn, New York, majoring in government and minoring in history in addition to her religion, ethics, and world affairs (REWA) minor. Her interest in the Catholic Church’s nuanced role in the HIV/AIDS pandemic for her REWA capstone project stems from her passion for discerning opportunities for increased dialogue, understanding, and intersection between the Church and the LGBTQ+ community. After graduation, she hopes to use her experience in the REWA program to pursue work in religious freedom diplomacy.
