Matthew Tapie is associate professor of theology and director of the Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies at Saint Leo University, Saint Leo, Florida, with teaching and research interests in the thought of Thomas Aquinas, Judaism and Christian theology, and Catholic-Jewish relations. He is co-editor, along with Alan Brill and Matthew Levering, of The Challenge of Catholic-Jewish Theological Dialogue (2025) and author of The Mortara Case and Thomas Aquinas's Defense of Jewish Parental Authority (2025).
