Profile

Molly Knapp (G’26) is a master’s degree candidate in the Global Human Development program at Georgetown University. She specializes in program design and evaluation, social innovation, and cross-sectoral partnerships, as she is interested in facilitating public, private, and non-governmental entities' collaboration to drive sustainable and locally led development. Before coming to the Walsh School of Foreign Service, she spent five years managing USAID-funded democracy, human rights, and governance programs. She worked with Democracy International to support a peaceful 2023 election in Liberia, strengthen community resilience between Venezuelan migrants and Trinidadian host communities, and promote community dialogue and improved trust between municipal officials and constituents in post-conflict Kosovo. Her interest in peacebuilding ties back to her undergraduate thesis, which highlighted the atrocities committed by the Argentinian and Chilean military dictatorships and the criminal prosecutions, truth-seeking, and reparations stakeholders pursued to achieve justice and reach reconciliation. At the Berkley Center, Molly works as an graduate fellow for events, and she looks forward to advancing interreligious and intercultural dialogue through this role.
