Mustafa Hasani is a full professor in the field of Islamic law (fiqh) and dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the University of Sarajevo. Hasani's scholarly contributions include the book Hajj in the Contemporary Social Context: Sharia Legal Challenges in the Era of Increasing Numbers of Pilgrims. His academic and research endeavors are primarily focused on the domains of Islamic law (fiqh), devotional rituals (ibadat), Islamic family law, and the issuance of legal opinions (fatwas). He holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Sarajevo.
