Naama Alhebsi is an undergraduate student at the United Arab Emirates University, majoring in applied sociology and social data analytics with a concentration in social policy. Born and raised in the UAE with Omani-Emirati roots, Naama is passionate about promoting intercultural understanding and caring about human rights, especially women’s rights. She likes to define herself as a reader; Naama believes that stories and books build empathy and bring people together. She is a Millennium Fellow alumna with the United Nations Academic Impact. Naama has volunteered in political and humanitarian events, including the World Governments Summit and Tarahum for Gaza by the Red Crescent. She also took part as a delegate in the United Nations Security Council committee at the American University of Sharjah Model United Nations. A 2025 Human Fraternity Fellow, Naama hopes to continue using her voice to build understanding and create space for empathy and peace.
