Obah works as an Arabic-Somali interpreter for the International Organization of Migration and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Jordan. She is also a student studying English at the diploma level at the Jesuit Refugee Service Higher Education Center in Amman. Originally from Somalia, Omah completed her higher education there before arriving in Jordan in 2013. Previously, Obah worked as a house cleaner and at a hospital in Amman.
