Oleksandr Oborskyi serves as first secretary at the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States. His current portfolio includes political dimension of the U.S.-Ukraine relations as well as think-tank community liaison. Prior to this post he served at the Central European desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and oversaw relations with the Czech Republic and Hungary. Oleksandr Oborskyi also worked at the diplomatic mission of Ukraine in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before posting to Sarajevo, he held positions at the policy planning unit of the MFA of Ukraine, where his primary focus included analyses related to the Russian-Georgian war of 2008.
