Paul M. Zulehner is professor emeritus of Pastoral Theology at the University of Vienna. He is the author of more than 50 books and widely regarded as one of the leading Catholic pastoral theologians in the European context. His most recent publication, based on the results of his research into European Catholic Church responses to the pandemic, is Bange Zuversicht: Was Menschen in der Corona-Krise bewegt (2021).
