Robert Vischer is the dean of the
University of St. Thomas School of Law. His research interests include the interaction
of law, religion, and public policy, specifically focusing on the religious and
moral facets of professional identity. Vischer is the author of Martin
Luther King Jr. and the Morality of Legal Practice: Lessons in Love and Justice
and Conscience and the Common Good: Reclaiming
the Space Between Person and State (2014, 2010). He
received a B.A. degree from the University of New Orleans and a J.D. from
Harvard Law School.
