Robin Darling Young is Ordinary Professor of Church History, Emerita, at the Catholic University of America and the acting editor of The Catholic Historical Review. She has also taught at the University of Notre Dame and Wesley Theological Seminary. Concentrating on the history of early Christianity, primarily in Greek-, Armenian-, and Syriac-speaking regions, she was recently chief editor and translator of Evagrius of Pontus: The Gnostic Trilogy (2023) and is completing a new translation of Origen's Contra Celsum. She is member of the Vatican’s International Theological Commission and of the Eastern Orthodox-Roman Catholic and the Oriental Orthodox-Roman Catholic official dialogues.
