S.K. Maina is National Coordinator for the National Steering Committee on Peacebuilding and Conflict Managemeny in the Kenyan Ministry of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security. Maina studied political science and has been involved in conflict resolution throughout Kenya for many years, with a particular focus on the pastoralist conflicts. He is the recipient of some of Kenya’s highest awards, including the “Order of the Grand Warrior” and the “Head of State Commendation.”
