SLS Salifu is General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). For the past six years, Salifu has overseen CAN’s daily affairs, including intra-Christian relations and Christian-Muslim relations, helping CAN to edge ever closer to fulfilling its motto: “That they all may be one”; he is one of two Secretary Generals of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council. He is also a Board of Trustees member for Christian Solidarity Worldwide Nigeria. Salifu's academic training is in engineering.
