Dr. Sadia Shakoor is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health at Aga Khan University, Pakistan. A physician and clinical microbiologist with over ten years of experience in dealing with patients with diverse infectious illnesses and infections presenting the most problematic antimicrobial resistance profiles, she has led and/ or been involved in research in Pakistan as well as other low- and middle-income countries with an AMR focus. She graduated with an MBBS, The Aga Khan University, Pakistan, in 2002 and holds an FCPS in Microbiology, College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, 2011. She did her residency in Clinical Microbiology at the Aga Khan University, Pakistan, 2006-2011.
