Sandra Thurman is chief strategy officer at the United States President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in the Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy. In her decades of work on AIDS prevention issues she has been director of the Clinton administration's Office of National AIDS Policy and director of the Interfaith Health Program at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health.
