Shannon Galvin graduated from Georgetown's Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2015 with a degree in international politics and a certificate in European studies. She participated in the Berkley Center's Junior Year Abroad Network while studying at the McGhee Center for Eastern Mediterranean Studies in Alanya, Turkey during the fall semester of 2013, and at Georgetown's Villa le Balze in Fiesole, Italy during the spring semester of 2014.
