Shlomo Fischer is a research fellow at the Van Leer Institute and teaches sociology at Hebrew University's School of Education and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His scholarship focuses on the intersection of class, politics, and religion in Israel, modern Jewish sociology, and radical religious Zionism. A graduate of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, Fischer brings over two decades of experience in educational leadership. He has authored and edited key works on religious tolerance and pluralism, while co-founding organizations dedicated to advancing democratic values within religious education.
