Simona Rovelli has worked with Entre Mundos as the coordinator for community strengthening, computer skills, and small grants programs since January 2015. She previously worked in Ecuador with a microfinance institution and later in Burkina Faso as the coordinator of rural development projects and microfinance for the Italian NGO CISV. She subsequently moved to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, where she worked as a consultant for local NGOs and taught classes in the political science and international relations department of Rafael Landívar University. Rovelli has a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Turin, a master’s degree in development from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, and a specialization in microfinance from Boulder Institute of Microfinance.
