Tomás Neto Leitão da Cruz is a volunteer Portuguese professor at St. Ignatius Loyola Secondary School (Escola Secundária Inácio de Loyola, ESIL) in Tete, Mozambique, a Jesuit secondary school that primarily serves disadvantaged rural students. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology and trained at the Leagues for Development in Portugal, through which he obtained his position at ESIL.
