Lieutenant Commander Zachary Zumwalt is a U.S. Navy chaplain stationed in Singapore, tasked with conducting strategic religious engagements with faith communities in Southeast Asia and Oceania. He holds a Master of Divinity from Multnomah Biblical Seminary (2012) and a Master of Religion and Public Life from Harvard University (2023). Chaplain Zumwalt's academic research focuses on military chaplains in preventative interagency just-peacebuilding within the Indo-Pacific. He is a former military fellow at the United States Institute of Peace and a member of the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps' Religion and Culture Community of Interest.
