January 7, 2016

This document summarizes a December 7, 2015 policy consultation focused on the role of faith actors in issues relating to Guatemala's environmental challenges. The conversation explored religious advocacy for environmental protection, the impact of extractive industries, ownership of land by indigenous persons, and faith-inspired organizations's environment-related development strategies. This event is part of a larger project mapping the role of religion in development at the country level; future publications will include this topic and lessons learned.
